Revolutionizing the way we throw is how we revolutionize the sport. People will almost immediately notice the athletes in the circle who know what they're doing technically. Throws Revolution offers proven coaching methods that produce sound technique and big PRs. It's not a one-size-fits-all plan either. We help you to both realize and then utilize your primary strengths in all throwing events. It goes beyond just training with our club though. We want to help athletes become the best they aspire to be, whether that's winning a state medal or getting an NCAA scholarship. Our services include assisting athletes with things like recruiting or creating their own independent training plans outside of organized practice. Everyone has different goals and circumstances to work with, and we're happy to help guide as well as coach. Most of our athletes are high school-aged or older, but we are willing to help youth competitors who are serious about getting their throwing journey started!

GROUP TRAINING

Group training is an excellent option for new and veteran throwers alike. New throwers get a chance to see proper technical cues in action while veteran throwers have an opportunity to become more fully aware of how to perfect positions while competing with each other. Sessions typically last 1.5-2 hours and are limited to a certain number of athletes to ensure individual attention is given to everyone. In addition to throwing, athletes can expect to partake in group drills as well as speed, agility, and coordination exercises that will directly translate into their throws.

ONLINE COACHING

Don’t live close by? Not a problem. Everyone should have a chance to be a part of the Revolution. Online coaching is also a fantastic option for new and veteran throwers alike. Through online coaching, athletes will still receive the individual attention and coaching that they may not be getting at school. Joining Throws Revolution online offers 24/7 direct access to coaching and advice. Since all athletes are different, there are multiple options and package deals for online resources. Here are some of the things we offer:

  • Virtual live sessions: $25 per hour

  • Consultations: Free (About 15-20 mintutes)

  • Video analysis and review ($20 for 3 videos)

  • Strength training plans ($75 for 3months)

  • Nutritional guidance

  • Drills and training methods 

Virtual throws training WITHOUT weight training: $75

Virtual throws training AND weight room training: $150
 

PRIVATE TRAINING

Private training is recommended for newer athletes so that they can receive exclusive attention on how to refine their technique and address specific strengths and weaknesses. Here, we will truly break down the throw while covering in-depth technical cues and athlete-specific drills. This is often where the HUGE breakthroughs are typically made. Sessions can range from 1 to 2 hours.

STRENGTH TRAINING PLANS

Quality strength training is a crucial part of becoming a high-level thrower, and yet so many get it wrong in the modern day. In a time where there are so many different modalities (Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, CrossFit, etc.), many are unsure of how to train. We keep it simple for our athletes: Do what it takes to create maximum horsepower. While we do not have a strength training facility currently, the majority of our athletes subscribe to monthly strength training plans that they do outside of organized practice time. Our coaches hold various certifications in the fields of fitness and exercise science, so our plans are built using scientifically proven methods. These applied methods have allowed our throwers to consistently gain functional strength, avoid injury, and perform at their best during the season.

*All NEW in-person members are to do a 1-on-1 introduction session with a coach, unless otherwise stated. These sessions last from 1.5 to 2 hours and are where we evaluate the athlete's starting point as well as what they can do for max improvement going forward. These are done to get a strong understanding of every individual athlete before integrating them into group training or putting them on a training plan!

All NEW online members will start by doing a 1-on-1 consultation with a Coach via Zoom or Facetime. These last around 30-45 minutes and are done to get familiar with an athlete before coaching them virtually. Videos of throws and personal information will be reviewed ahead of time so that we can cover everything on the call.
